The HTC One line of devices are known for their premium styling, strong all-metal industrial design and the Sense custom user interface. The One M7 and M8 received good user reviews although the camera on both fell short of expectations. The next One will hopefully address that concern while building on the premium quality associated with HTC. No word on pricing is available till now but the One M9 will carry on the premium pricing policy adopted by HTC for it’s One range of devices. The M9 is also rumoured to have a powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with new UltraPixel camera technology and Dolby sound.
Besides the latest version of the One, there are also chances of HTC debuting with some wearable devices this time. These wearables developed by HTC in collaboration with Under Armour are aimed at fitness enthusiasts. The UA Record app by Under Armour will be one of the main attractions on this watch. It still isn’t clear that Android Wear will power HTC’s wearable but due to the lack of other options we don’t really see other alternatives.
Further details on pricing and availability will only be announced at the MWC event. Although, One devices have so far fell short of HTC’s high expectations there’s still time for HTC to reverse this and restore itself as one of the major Android OEM’s. While HTC One is a flagship device, they also have phones like the HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 826 which offer great value for money.
